The welding process of stainless steel handmade sink is a crucial step to ensure the structural integrity and durability of the sink. Here is an introduction to one of the three different welding processes for stainless steel sinks:
One-Piece Welding Process
Definition and Features:
The one-piece welding process refers to the entire sink being formed from a single piece of stainless steel plate at one time, and then connected by welding techniques at various edges to form a complete sink structure. Thus the product thickness is unified, for example, if the product is using material in thickness of 1.2mm, then its thickness is 1.2mm.(this thickness will showed different by other ways of welding handmade sinks--Surface frame+Bowl welding, and Flat plate welding).
Process Flow:
Material Selection: Choose the appropriate thickness and grade of stainless steel plate.
Cutting and Shaping: Use laser or plasma cutting technology for precise cutting of the plate and shaping processing.
Bending Technology: Utilizing advanced CNC bending machines for precise bending to form the preliminary shape of the sink. This step has extremely high technical requirements to ensure the smoothness and precise alignment of the bends.
Edge Preparation: Polish and clean the welding edges to ensure no oil or impurities.
Welding: Use TIG welding technology with inert gas protection for the weld to prevent oxidation.
Post-Weld Treatment: After welding, polish and buff to eliminate weld marks, ensuring a smooth surface inside and outside the sink.
Advantages:
Strong integrity and structural stability.
Fewer weld points, reducing the potential risk of leaks.
