Distinguish Handmade sink and pressed sink Quickly
a simple way to distinguish the different type of stainless steel sink

An easier way to distinguish stainless steel handmade sink and pressed sinks is to look at the radians of the four corners of the sink. The corner radians of pressed sinks are relatively large, generally above 15 degrees. This is determined by its production process. The pressed sink is produced by drawing and forming on a mold from a force of the hydraulic press machine. If the R angle of the sink is too small, then it is easy to burst the angle during the stretching process. The deeper the bowl is required, the easier it is to burst the angle. This will lead to high waste rate in production, thereby affecting the product cost. Therefore in order to ensure the productivity, the Radians of pressed sink must be big.
Welding is one of the core processes of stainless steel handmade sinks, so small r angles are not a problem to it. The general angles for handmade sinks are R0, R10, R15. Among these 3 radians, R10 is the mainstream for handmade sinks in the market, because it not only keeps the good lines of the sinks, but also easy to be cleaned. Although R0 looks more three-dimensional at the bowl, it is frequently complained because of the difficulty in cleaning them. So it is less popular then R10 in the market.
In terms of technology, the smaller radian of the pressed sink is, the higher production techniques is required. On the contrary, the larger radian of handmade is, the higher production techniques is required.
This is an easy way to distinguish a handmade sink from a pressed sink. When choosing a handmade sink, R10 will always be a good choice.
